This includes all affiliated companies within the “EmpoweringTech” Group of Companies including but not limited to: “Scanning Pens Ltd", “Scanning Pens Inc”, “Scanning Pens Corp”, “Scanning Pens Pty”, “squid.”, “Scanning Pens Pvt”, “Wizcom”, and also their operational, content and technology providers.

All website design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof and all software compilations, underlying source code, software (including applets) and all other material on this website are subject to copyright. Scanning Pens and "Read | Capture | Translate" are either trademarks or registered trademarks of "Scanning Pens Ltd". Other product and company names mentioned on this website may be the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Submissions to "Scanning Pens Ltd"

• Any information, including but not limited to remarks, suggestions, ideas, graphics or other submissions, communicated to " EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies through this website  and other electronic mediums is the exclusive property of "EmpoweringTech". In addition, "EmpoweringTech" is entitled to use any information submitted for any purpose without restriction or compensation to the person sending the submission. 
• The sender acknowledges the originality of any submission communicated to "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies and accepts responsibility for its accuracy, appropriateness and legality.

Governing Law and Contract Formation

THE TERMS IN THIS SECTION CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN "EMPOWERINGTECH” AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES AND YOU FOR THE SALE OF PRODUCTS BY "EMPOWERINGTECH” AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES TO YOU. BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
• No contract will subsist between you and "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies accepts your order by email confirming that it has dispatched your product. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies sends the email to you (whether or not you receive that email). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and you and "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
• If any part of these terms and conditions is unlawful, void or unenforceable in any country, or jurisdiction, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of remaining provisions. "EmpoweringTech” and affiliated companies may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting.

Complaints Procedure

• "EmpoweringTech" takes its relationships with customers very seriously. We aim to reply to emails within one working day of receipt. 

• Please visit the ‘Contact us’ page on our website. Here you can find telephone numbers and email addresses which can be used to contact us. In event of a complaint, please email the ‘Order Related’ email address with details of the complaint.

WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment)

• If you’ve purchased an electronic item from us and you’d like to recycle it, please visit the ‘Contact us’ page on our website. Here you can find telephone numbers and email addresses which can be used to contact us. 

• Payment Methods

Secure Online Credit Card Processing

• Please select the "Credit Card" option on the "Payment Section" of our checkout process.  Then click "Continue" to review your order, and if everything looks correct press "Continue" once again.  You will then be presented with a form asking you to enter your card details.

• The cards we accept are: Visa & MasterCard (and all sub branded cards).

• Invoice (trade, schools, districts and other government bodies only)

• Please either email us an official purchase order (the email address to send this to can be found on the Contact Us page on our website) or alternatively, enter your purchase order number when you are on the "Payment Section" of the checkout process.

Online Order Process

If this is the first time you have ordered from us, you will need to sign up for an account in the normal way, then please contact us and ask us to switch the "invoice" option on.  We normally authorise these "invoice" accounts within a few minutes during business hours but it may take a little longer in the evenings or at the weekend.  Once authorised you will see the "invoice" option during the checkout process. 

Invoice Payment Methods

First time trade customers - your order will not be dispatched until we have received your full payment via one of the methods listed below.

Other customers – Once your order has been placed you will receive an Order Confirmation email. After your order has been despatched from our warehouse you will receive a Packing Slip, and once the parcel has been delivered we shall email an invoice to you. 
 
Payment for invoices is accepted using the following methods:

Credit Card

Please visit the ‘Contact us’ page on our website. Here you can find telephone numbers and email addresses which can be used to contact us, and we will happily take payment for your invoice via credit card.

Bank Transfer

Please make an electronic or wires payment using the details found at the bottom of your invoice.  Please use your invoice number as reference.
